the life ive chosen seems like it knows no guarantees. the hollow feeling of waiting, we’re all familiar with it. that sting of rejection is always so near you almost start to welcome it, embrace it, and impose it on yourself. it’s a real and a hopeless kind of pain, or so it seems..

but im 21 now. so ive feel like ive gathered at least the TINIEST speck of wisdom from these past few short and long years of treading in water. 

there IS a guarantee. if you really are in love with what you do, and are unconditionally passionate about it, there always was. that guarantee is that you will have no regrets. for this guarantee to be realized however, there must be faith, grace, and there MUST be work. and there must be love. through love, there is happiness. don’t forget where you came from, because its hard to find your feet once youve been floating for so long. and you NEED these feet, trust me. they are what got you here. your family, your friends, your SELF. and i mean your true self, your five year old self…the truest version of yourself. these are things that you cant let go, no matter what.

have you ever tied your heart to the surface of an ocean? or fell in love with a bird as it flew away? our hearts can be big and vulnerable, but if we are grounded in a faith as real as this sun that rises and sets everyday that we can and will always be healed. don’t be afraid of love, just because sometimes it brings pain. at least you’re feeling something. scream, kick, and fucking fight to make sure you’re still alive. and you’ll realize you are now, more than ever. through all of the million pieces of your broken heart and the million tears you’ve cried, you ARE.
